The Chicago Bears have fallen into a two-game losing streak, but the games they have dropped came when they stepped up in class. The team took care of the Titans, Panthers, and Jaguars, so this week, they should be able to bounce back against the New England Patriots.

What are some things that we could see from the team that would lead to fans buying back in on the Bears?

5. The Chicago Bears need to shut down Drake Maye’s legs

Drake Maye has come out of the gate and moved the chain with his legs. He had 95 rushing yards last week against the Tennessee Titans and has gone over 30 in three of the four games that he started. Maye added a rushing touchdown in the win over the Jets and has been a threat when the play breaks down because of his legs.

It appears that Montez Sweat will be back in this game, and that is going to be important. Sweat does not only rush the passer well; he also sets a strong edge, which is vital to defending the run. DeMarcus Walker is also solid as a run-defending edge player, so this can work in the Bears' favor.

The team has been able to keep names such as Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, and Kyler Murray in check on the ground, but they did let Jayden Daniels get free at times. The Patriots are not as dynamic as Washington right now, so unless Maye is creating in this area, the Bears' defense should have success. Will the Bears be able to contain Maye, or will he get loose?
