There remains a likelihood that the Chicago Bears will catch up with Aaron Rodgers, their former nemesis, when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL Season.
Much like the miserable experience New York Jets fans had with Rodgers as their starting quarterback, Rodgers hasn't even signed with the Steelers yet, and he is proving why the circus that comes with his arrival may not be worth it.
One of the strangest things that comes with Rodgers nowadays is that, despite not having played for the Green Bay Packers since 2022, he loves to talk about the Packers any time that he gets the chance to. In doing so, Rodgers can't help but remind everyone that the Bears live rent-free in his head.
The latest was a clap back for a Bears fan that Rodgers had while speaking with fans.
"The best thing about Bears fans is every year, 'This is our year. This is our year. We added this guy and that guy. We've got a new coach from Detroit. Oh man. Look out. Packers fans, we know that, right. And what does every coach that signs with the Bears say? 'We've got to beat the Packers, right?' Packers don't give a s---," Rodgers told the fan.
Aaron Rodgers continues to be desperate for attention
To be fair, Rodgers is partially correct. The Packers likely weren't focused on the Bears because they were too busy being one of the most disappointing teams in the playoffs every January. And when they aren't losing in the playoffs, they are losing during the offseason with failed proposals. Oh, and that coach that has been hired by the Bears, Ben Johnson, has swept the Packers two times over the last three seasons.
If anything, Rodgers' preference to keep talking about the Packers just speaks to the hurt feelings he must still have after being abandoned by the organization three years ago. It's a sad look, especially when you consider Rodgers' headlines nowadays are based on stuff he says, and never about anything he does on the field.
