Steven Negishi

Steven Negishi is an avid Chicago sports fan, who became a contributor for Bear Goggles On from Novermber 2022. Though originally born in Chicago, Steven has lived and worked in Japan for over 25 years, and is fluent in Japanese. He has also worked briefly in India and Germany, where he experienced Germany winning the 2014 World Cup. He has also been hosting ""Double A Team Podcast"" with Ken Fang, an associate editor for ""Awful Announcing"" since 2021 to fight against racism towards AAPI community during COVID. He completed his Bachelors in Public Policy Studies while living in Japan and attended George Washington University where he received his Masters in Sports Management back in 2002. I am an IT professional during the day, and I have been a lifelong Bears fan, who have been a frequent caller to Bears postgame shows on ESPN1000 and 670 The Score. I also follow other Chicago sports teams, particularly the Cubs, and European soccer, particularly English Premier League and German Bundesliga.
