Bears fans can't help but laugh at the latest embarrassing Aaron Rodgers report

It's been 20 years in the making.

Some blogs on this site are important. Some are informative, and others are enlightening. This blog is neither.

It is, however, cathartic. When you get the opportunity to make fun of Aaron Rodgers – especially in 2025 – it's always worth it to do so. No one knows how many more years he's going to bounce around the QB-needy teams that are desperate to win eight games, but we all know it won't be many. Before we know it, the time for making fun of him will be gone – or, at least, not as important.

You may have noticed that Rodgers currently isn't on a team. The reasons for that are very on-brand for him, and even if you didn't already know them, I bet you could guess. As he searches for one last organization to ruin, it sounds like he has some regrets. According to a kinda-out-of-left-field article about Rodgers from Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Rodgers isn't being bashful about how much he misses the organizational stability of Green Bay. And at the risk of complimenting the Packers here, it is an incredibly rewarding read.

It sounds like Aaron Rodgers misses the Packers way more than they miss him

"And along those lines, I’ve heard Rodgers is looking for a culture such as the one in Green Bay.
I get it if that sounds a little strange after the drama of the four-time MVP’s final years as a Packer. But over the past few months, Rodgers has been open with people around him on his renewed appreciation for what he had for 18 seasons in Wisconsin. Call it a grass-is-greener dynamic if you want, but it definitely has felt, to some of those around him, like spending a couple years as a New York Jet made Rodgers view the situation he had more favorably."

Who could have guessed that Rodgers didn't actually end up enjoying his time with the rebound team he used to make the Packers jealous?! And who could have known that the Jets didn't have their stuff together the way that Green Bay did?! You almost feel bad for the way that Rodgers was so unavoidably blindsided by all the consequences of the extremely-thorough decisions he was making. Almost.

This doesn't quite make up for the two decades of pain he inflicted on Bears fans, but it comes as close as just about anything would. I'm sure his stint on the Giants will go much better.
