Before the Chicago Bears released their injury report, head coach Ben Johnson provided some bad news, but not all hope is lost after the final statuses of the players.
Johnson already announced that linebacker T.J. Edwards was listed as doubtful for Monday night against the Vikings. This was expected after Edwards had not been practicing for over a week.
The rest of the Bears' final injury report was released on social media, which included three players being listed as questionable for the contest.

Overview view of Bears' final injury report versus Vikings
Starting with the running backs, the good news is that Monangai is looking good to play. He's been practicing all week and is in line to be the backup behind D'Andre Swift.
It's somewhat encouraging to see Roschon Johnson being listed as questionable. ESPN Bears reporter Courtney Cronin shared that Johnson did practice on Saturday, but doesn't believe he will suit up for the game. The most likely plan is that Brittain Brown will get called up from the practice squad to be the third-string running back.
Roschon Johnson (foot) returned to practice for the first time since Aug. 5. He's listed as QUESTIONABLE, but seems like a stretch that he'll be available after one day of practice on what was a shorter day.

The good news for the Bears backfield: Kyle Monangai was a FULL…
While the secondary has two players injured, Jaylon Johnson and Josh Blackwell, both are looking good to play. They have been practicing all week, and there have been no reports of any setbacks during practice.
Johnson is the most critical piece to the defense, having made back-to-back Pro Bowls for the Bears. Blackwell is more of a special teams ace who has excelled in kickoff coverage and is listed on the Bears' unofficial depth chart as the backup returner to Duvernay.

Considering all things, the injury report could be a lot worse. Edwards brings out is a tough break for the Bears, but there is enough depth there and at other positions that Chicago is set up to be competitive against the Vikings.
