Five Bears ruled out for Week 4, including Caleb Williams and Kyler Gordon
Williams was expected to be out, so it doesn't come as too much of a surprise to hear that news. This will be the second game he will miss, as he is expected to miss one or two more games before returning.
Gordon's 21-day practice window just opened, and it appears the Bears will use that whole time for him to test his calf out and see how he does. All signs seems to be pointing towards positive news for him for the time being.
Jones was also expected to be out, as Bears head coach Ben Johnson named Theo Benedet the starter at left tackle and Ozzy Trapilo looking to be in line to potentially be back next week. It would be a surprise at this point to see Jones back on the field the rest of the season for the Bears, as he will be reverting back as a backup to Trapilo.
Sewell and Turner are nearing the end of their 21-day practice window to be closed, so they could be in line to be active in the next week. They have continued to make good progress with practicing each day.
The Lewis injury is a surprise, as now he appears to not be in line to play. That could very well mean either rookie Malik Muhammad or Tyrique Stevenson will start in the slot with the other being the CB2 for the game.
Swift got some good news, as he did miss part of the week with his knee injury, but will be playing. That was expected, as the Bears were playing it safe with his injury.

Chicago seems to have their ducks in a row with the last question of the week being who will start at quarterback between Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent. That is an answer Bears fans will not get until right before kickoff with seeing who works out with the starters.
