Just a couple days away from the Monday Night Football showdown with the Washington Commanders, and the Chicago Bears have delivered some great news before the contest.
Chicago released the final Week 6 injury report with only defensive tackle Grady Jarrett being ruled out for the game with his knee injury. Four players are listed as questionable for the contest.
- Austin Booker, DE (knee)
- Travis Homer, RB (calf)
- Colston Loveland, TE (hip)
- Cairo Santos, K (thigh)
The rest of the six players that have been on the injury report all week don't have an injury designation to their names.
- Jaquan Brisker, S (quad)
- T.J. Edwards, LB (hamstring)
- Kyler Gordon, CB (hamstring)
- Jonah Jackson, OL (rib)
- Kyle Monangai, RB (thigh)
- Darnell Wright, OL (elbow)
Jarrett's injury is rough, but Bears got the encouraging news they were needing
The biggest challenge for the Bears without Jarrett is losing one of their top run stoppers, who helped them against the Commanders' number-one rushing attack in the NFL. This will put more pressure on the linebackers to help in support against the run.
Luckily for the linebackers, Edwards is back after playing just one half for the Bears this season. He can bring a specific energy that the defense needs.
Another massive return is Gordon, who hasn't stepped on the field yet in 2025. He will take back his nickel position that Nick McCloud has been holding onto. At cornerback now will be Gordon, Tyrique Stevenson, and Nahshon Wright.
The other big name that appears to be back is starting right tackle Wright. He missed the Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders due to his elbow injury. With news of Theo Benedet officially taking over at left tackle for Braxton Jones, Wright gives them a veteran at one of the tackle positions.
The four questionable players will be the ones to watch out for before kickoff. Loveland has already stated that he feels good to play after missing the Raiders game. Santos had been practicing all week, but all of a sudden, he would be a last-second decision.
Booker and Homer are in unique circumstances since they are both just coming off the IR. They had both practiced all week, but the question is whether Bears head coach Ben Johnson is comfortable enough to roll them out onto the field.

This is the most at full strength the Bears have been all season, and it comes at the right time as they look to pull off an upset on the Commanders.
