The Chicago Bears will be without Caleb Williams for the next three to four weeks as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Initially, fans wondered if maybe the season was over before it ever really began but, after blowing out the Eagles on Monday Night Football, everyone is buying all of the Bears' stock they can find!
Case Keenum played great for the Bears on Monday night despite being QB3 entering the season. This on its own would give Bears fans confidence about the team while Williams is out, but something else working in Chicago's favor is that their upcoming schedule isn't exactly terrifying.
The next four games on the Bears' schedule include a home tilt against the Jets, road games in Green Bay and Atlanta, and a home matchup against the Patriots. All four teams are under .500, and while it's still early in the year, this is about as favorable a schedule as the Bears could ask for while their superstar quarterback is out.

The Jets haven't looked bad despite their 1-2 start, but hosting them gives Chicago an edge here. Road games against divisional opponents are always tough, but the Packers have been a mess this year, so if there's a time for the Bears to go into Lambeau and win, this would be it, even without Williams.
The Falcons looked dreadful the first two weeks but played much better with Michael Penix Jr. in the lineup. And the Patriots have not looked like the same team they were a season ago, plus that game is in Chicago. It's also possible that Williams is back in action by that point.
Perhaps if Keenum had struggled on Monday, this would be a different story, but seeing how Ben Johnson tailored the offense to him and how that allowed him and the rest of the team to dominate a good team like the Eagles should give fans hope. If Keenum could do that against a Vic Fangio-led Eagles squad, imagine what Johnson and he can dial up against weaker defenses in the coming weeks.
When Williams was carted off, many Bears fans felt that the season went off the field with him. But there could be hope after all! Not only that, but the Bears might not lose much ground in the NFC North at all while Williams is out.

Fortunately, Chicago only has one divisional game during this time, and they won the toughest game on the schedule even without Williams. It's a good sign of things to come and shows that this team is ready for anything that gets thrown in their direction.
