The best feeling in the world is knowing that even though some things might not be perfect for the Chicago Bears, some still remain confident in the team.
Chicago just completed their Week 5 bye week with the focus on getting healthier entering the final 13-week stretch of the regular season. The Bears are off to a 2-2 start and currently sit in last place in the NFC North division, trailing by just a half game.
The Bears have generated significant momentum after winning their last two contests against the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders. The offense is rolling with Caleb Williams starting to catch fire, while the defense is holding firm despite so many injuries they are dealing with.
Yes, life isn't so bad in Chicago. Things might be even better after the new NFL power rankings come out, which will only make Bears fans even happier.
Bears might be last in the NFC North, but they aren't according to this power rankings
NFL Spin Zone's Lou Scataglia shared his latest NFL power rankings going into Week 6, and it bodes well for the Bears. Scataglia has them up to number 17, while their NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, are number 19.
"The Chicago Bears may have figured something out on offense over the past two weeks, but they had a bye in Week 5, so that momentum is going to have to wait until Week 6. I do believe the Bears can compete with the rest of the teams in the NFC North, but with Ben Johnson being in his first year as their head coach, this operation is not going to get fixed overnight.
The Bears could end up sneaking into a Wild Card seed in the NFC playoffs when it’s all said and done, but a lot can happen over 13 regular season games. The Bears are 17th in our NFL power rankings, but things are pointing upward.
Second-year QB Caleb Williams has looked quite sharp this year, so a breakout could also be on the horizon for him and that offense after the bye."
What a beautiful twist of fate that despite the Bears losing to the Vikings in Week 1 and being a half-game behind them in the NFC North, some believe Chicago is the better team. Minnesota is pretty banged up, but so are the Bears, so it's a good feeling to have.
There are categories where the Bears have the advantage over the Vikings. Chicago's offense has gained more yards per game (328) than the Vikings have (305). The Bears also have a slight advantage in points per game, as Chicago averages 25.3 points and Minnesota averages 24.6 points.

Even for just the week, Bears fans can use this as a little trash talk to Vikings fans.
