This is the kind of finish we're going to have to brace for. The Chicago Bears are in the thick of a tight division race and, just a week after sitting atop the NFC North, they gave up the throne with a loss to the Green Bay Packers.
While we're at it, we can also mention the fact that Chicago went from being the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC all the way down to the No. 7 spot. That's just how competitive this conference and division have been so far. It's going to be a photo finish, from the looks of it.
But, just as quickly as the Bears lost their spot atop the division, they very well might get it back. In Week 15, the matchups look very favorable for Chicago.
Let's start with the Bears.
The Bears' Week 15 shapes up for Chicago to take back the North
To begin with, the Bears are going to get to host Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns at Soldier Field. The Browns are 3-10 for a reason, but they also shouldn't be taken lightly.
Cleveland's defense is a problem. The Bears might only need to score 17-20 points to win this one if the defense plays well. But the more in-depth analysis can be saved for another day. The point is, Chicago has a great chance to bounce back with a win next weekend.
Meanwhile, after the Bears hopefully take care of business against Cleveland, we'll all be watching one particular late afternoon contest.
The Packers travel to take on the Denver Broncos at Mile High.
The Broncos currently hold a 10-game winning streak, too. This is a team that has figured out how to win games in various fashions. It has entirely depended upon the week, but Denver has seen its fair share of different avenues taken to victory.
Whether it be a miraculous comeback, a blowout from start to finish, or a close game throughout, the Broncos just plain win.
Chances are, this could be a close one. Three of the Packers' last four wins have all come in one-score games, too, so that makes it even more interesting. But the Broncos are currently the better team, if we're going off record.
Heck, the Packers lost two in a row before their current four-game winning streak. All the while, Denver hasn't lost since Week 3.

We're not going to count anything before it happens, but the Bears should be in a good position to get a win. And, even though the Packers are currently favored, I wouldn't count out a Broncos team, at home, riding their current streak.
