It was a beautiful sight as the Chicago Bears fans witnessed their former head coach and current Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, Matt Eberflus, suffer a fate he had faced 34 times when he was in the Windy City: a loss.

The Bears picked up a 31-14 win over the Cowboys on Sunday and had some standout performances on their offense versus Eberflus's unit. Eberflus's only shining moment was that his defense allowed 87 yards on 29 carries, averaging three yards per carry.

As for the positives on the Bears' side, Caleb Williams had arguably the best game of his career, completing 298 passing yards and four touchdowns, as well as the first time in his career that he wasn't sacked in a game. Rookie second-round pick Luther Burden III had his first career 100-yard game that included a 65-yard touchdown catch.

Eberflus took a beating from his former team

The Bears finished the game with 385 yards, that's a season-high for Chicago. They were great on third down as they converted eight of 14 they faced.

Chicago's moment of really sticking it to their old coach was their final scoring drive of the game that sealed their win. They had their first 19-play drive since 2001 as they went 76 yards down the field, ending with a DJ Moore touchdown catch to give them a three possession lead and the win.

That drive felt like it was the singular moment that the Bears wanted to just take it to Eberflus and make feel the pain that they felt over the last three years. Eberflus struggled to slow down Williams and couldn't keep them out of the end zone.
