The final inactive list for the Chicago Bears in Week 4 has been released, and it's a painful reminder of the challenge ahead for them.
There are seven players that were included on the list with five of them starters on the team. Four of them are not too much of a surprise after already being ruled out on Friday.
- Kyler Gordon, CB
- Grady Jarrett, DT
- Darnell Wright, OL
- Chris Williams, DL
- Case Keenum, QB
- T.J. Edwards, LB
- Colston Loveland, TE
No major surprises, but it still showcases what the Bears have to face up against
The defense is banged up. Gordon and Jaylon Johnson are not playing in this game as Johnson faces the possibility of missing most of the season. Gordon seemed to be hinting at the fact that he could be back soon enough.
Jarrett has been the emotional leader of this defense in Johnson's absence, but he will miss his first game of the season. Not listed on there, but Austin Booker will be missing his last game before coming off the IR for the defensive line.
Edwards is out once again as he has only appeared in one game this season. The hope is that he will be back after the bye week and use this game to rest up.
The Loveland news is not so much of a surprise, either, as it was reported on Saturday that he would miss his first game of his young career. Outside of his 31-yard completion in last week's 31-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys, it has been a relatively quiet season for him.

Chicago is about as banged up as a team can be going into a big game. With a 1-2 record, a win is needed if they want to stay in contention for the postseason later in the season.
