The Chicago Bears' 2025 draft class is now five games into their careers.

Chicago is coming off a 25-24 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 6 action. What is the current trajectory, and how do the rookies grade out so far?

 Colston Loveland, TE

The Bears tried to get Loveland more involved out of the bye week, but it did not work. They got him a target early in the game, and he committed offensive pass interference. He is still just playing sporadically and ended with two catches for 11 yards.

Grade: C-

Luther Burden III, WR

Luther Burden finished fourth in wide receiver snaps with just 15. That is less than Loveland, Cole Kmet, and even Kyle Monangai. However, he led the team in catches and was behind only D’Andre Swift in receiving yards. Leading all receivers in yards despite being fourth in snaps may be a sign to play Burden more.

Grade: A

Ozzy Trapilo, OL

Theo Benedet has been good, so Bears fans cannot complain. However, it is disappointing that Benedet is likely better on both the right and left side than the Bears' second-round draft pick. What role will Trapilo have next year if Darnell Wright is still here? Does he even work at left tackle with Benedet starting and Braxton Jones taking back-up snaps?

Grade: F

Shemar Turner, DL

Turner is starting to get involved more. He has 57 snaps over the last three games despite not playing at all in his first two. This was likely his most active game as a defender as well, as he recorded four tackles and one for loss.

Grade: B

Ruben Hyppolite II, LB

The Bears slowly pulled Hyppolite off of a couple of special teams units before the bye week, and then, coming out of the bye, it appeared as though Hyppolite was a healthy scratch. He was drafted because of a special teams floor, and if he cannot provide that, the pick was a massive miss. This has shades of Joel Iyiegbuniwe all over it.

Grade: F

Luke Newman, OL

Newman was also a healthy scratch after getting a helmet during the first four weeks. The Bears are shuffling on their line, providing a bit of an excuse, but both Hyppolite and Newman are going backward, not forward.

Grade: D-

Kyle Monangai, RB

Here is a player who is seeing improvement throughout the year. He is starting to work on a complement to Swift, and the production is slowly coming together. His 25-yard catch in Week 5 was the biggest play of his career.

Grade: B+
