The Chicago Bears are ready to face off against the New England Patriots in the Week 7 Thursday Night Football Showdown.

Both teams enter the game with a 4-2 record and are looking to continue their momentum entering Week 8. Chicago has not had as many injuries to deal with this season as they did in 2025, but they will still have some key guys out. Here is a look at all the inactives for the Bears:

  • Kyle Monangai, RB
  • Case Keenum, QB3
  • Jordan McFadden, OL
  • Jayden Loving, DL
  • T.J. Edwards, LB
  • Jack Sanborn, LB
  • Nick McCloud, CB

Kyle Monangai headlines Bears' inactives for Week 7

Monangai is missing his third straight game with the thumb and toe injury he sustained more than two weeks ago. While the bigger concern right now is the toe injury, there is optimism that he will return within the next week or two.

Edwards is once again out for the Bears, as this will be his second missed game of the year. He tried to give it a go in warm ups earlier in the afternoon, but the decision was made to shut him down for the contest. D'Marco Jackson will be filling in for Edwards.

Keyshaun Elliott has been out for most of the season with an injury, but he will be back on the field for the Bears. Elliott is most likely going to fill in for Jack Sanborn, who is currently going through concussion protocol and could not get cleared in enough time.

The good news for the Bears' secondary is that cornerback Tyrique Stevenson is active after being listed as questionable for the game. One question will be whether he will actually start or if the rookie Malik Muhammad ends up starting on the outside at corner.

Once again, Tyson Bagent will be the Bears' backup at quarterback. Case Keenum is listed as the third quarterback on the depth chart for Chicago.

McFadden and Loving have been common names on the inactive list all season. McCloud gets added to the inactive list, as he was a backup plan in case Stevenson was not able to go.

The Bears have their roster set and ready to go, so they will be ready to play the Patriots. After this game, they will be off for 10 days, so they would like to make sure they go into the long break with a win.
