There are many outside of the Chicago Bears' organization that are currently worried about the offense after three days of struggles. Head coach Ben Johnson is not on that level.

Johnson spoke with the media, where there were questions surrounding the struggles of the offense from Caleb Williams' interceptions and consecutive incompletions. One perfect metaphor was used by Johnson to share his lack of concern with the unit.

“Sometimes you’ve got to get burned by a hot stove to learn you don’t want to do that again.”

"We are not frustrated at all," Johnson said via CHGO Bears' X account. "Our guys are learning. We are not making the same mistake twice."

Another aspect of the offense that they had issues during the practices is occuring pre-snap. Johnson at one point kicked out the first-team because they couldn't get set up correctly. Johnson believes they are seeing improvement with it, but acknowledging work needs to be done.

“It’s gotten better, but it’s not where it needs to be.”

When will the Bears be able to put it all together offensively?

The one positive aspect to these struggles is that the players have not shown any frustration with it. They are staying focused on getting better each day and that's all they can do.

Fans know Johnson's offensive scheme is going to work as he had great success with it when he was the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions. The Lions have had a top five offense in points and yards in each of the last three years.

Williams is the biggest focus of the improvements that are needed through training camp. He has been inconsistent with his passes with multiple incompletions and turnovers.

It's a good sign that Johnson is showing a good perspective on the offense. There's no panic in him as he went through the same growing pains with the Lions three years ago.
