It's been quite a week for Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

Before the Dallas Cowboys game, Williams was already feeling the heat for producing two average performances that didn't wow the national media. He needed to make a statement against the Cowboys, and he did that tenfold.

Williams finished the game with 298 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the Bears' 31-14 win over Dallas. Now the Bears' franchise quarterback is sitting on Cloud 9 with everyone praising him and starting to see the potential they have been waiting to see.

This even has some in the media ready to make some bold predictions on how he could look in their upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Caleb Williams could be in for a career game

NFL Spin Zone's Ryan Heckman was back at it with his Week 4 bold quarterback predictions. Heckman hasn't been shy about sharing his expectations for Williams, with this time being that he will do something he's never done in his career: pass for 400 yards in a game.

"Last week, Caleb Williams went for nearly 300 yards and four passing touchdowns against Dallas. This week, he gets the Raiders, who have a bottom-10 pass defense through three weeks (237 yards/game).

We started to see Ben Johnson's imprint truly come through against the Cowboys, and against a ho-hum Raiders defense, Johnson and Williams prove they're here to stay.

Small detail that matters: The Raiders sacked Marcus Mariota just once last week. Williams went without being sacked against Dallas."

It doesn't seem as far-fetched as it might have been after the Bears lost to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. Williams finds himself pacing to shatter massive team records, including passing yards (pacing for 4,052 yards) and touchdowns (pacing for 40). It also helps that the Raiders are 24th in the NFL in pass defense, allowing an average of 237 yards per game.

Williams is currently top 10 in the league in passing touchdowns (seven), QBR (66.7), and passer rating (107.6). He's playing at a level that hasn't been seen from him in his young career.

The excitement in the Windy City about Williams is growing by the minute. As long as Bears head coach Ben Johnson can keep him focused and continue to develop, this is going to be a special season for Williams.
