Going into a critical NFC Divisional Round game between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams, there are a ton of storylines everyone is keeping an eye out for.

From the potential chess match between the head coaches in Ben Johnson and Sean McVay to how the Bears' defense will hold up against one of the best offenses in the NFL in Los Angeles, there's plenty to get excited about. One aspect, though, that is getting a lot of traction is the weather.

Early weather reports indicate this game at Soldier Field in Chicago could be one of the coldest ever played. Bears defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson was not as impressed with it as everyone is saying his team has the advantage over the Rams because of the weather.

"Like I tell everybody, (the Rams) played in the snow last year in the divisional round. So I mean, we talking about weather? Whoop-de-do."

C.J. Gardner-Johnson doesn't care about the cold weather vs. Rams

Gardner-Johnson knows all too well how good the Rams' offense can be, no matter what the weather is like. He was on the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl-winning team last year that nearly lost to the Rams 28-22 in Philly when it was snowing in the second half.

What Gardner-Johnson may not know is that the cold weather coming into Chicago for the Divisional Round game is actually a massive advantage for the Bears. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford struggles in the cold, as he is 1-9 in outdoor cold-weather games in his career.

Weather shouldn't be the main topic of discussion when talking about whether it is make or break to win a game, but the Bears being able to play outdoors in the cold and snow compared to the Rams in their dome stadium in Los Angeles is a bigger deal when it's the playoffs, and the Super Bowl is on the line.
