The Chicago Bears can be proud to have Caleb Williams as the franchise quarterback after his progression from his rookie year to his second season in the NFL.
Williams is becoming the quarterback Chicago has needed for decades, demonstrating his leadership skills as well as his accountability to himself. He's grown to be back in the conversation as one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL.
This season, he has thrown under 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns to two interceptions in four games. Add in a rushing touchdown, and he's showing that he's athletic and willing to do whatever it takes to win games.
Everyone may know him as a starting quarterback, but Williams has interests outside of football that are attracting attention.
Williams is now getting into the soccer space
On Thursday, the new NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) team, Boston Legacy FC, announced that Williams is one of its new investors. Williams joins the group of investors, including Aly Raisman, Elizabeth Banks, and Aliyah Boston.
"Women's sports is a movement, and I admire and respect the work that the team and the NWSL continues to do to grow the sport and empower future generations of athletes," Williams said in a statement." Boston Legacy FC is building something special, and we're proud to be a part of what's next."
Boston Legacy FC is launching the team in its first season in 2026. They are part of the NWSL's expansion, as the league will have 16 teams for the new season.
This is the first significant business investment Williams has made since joining the Bears and the NFL in 2024. It's a new avenue for him to jump into a space that is seeing a growing fan base.

If Williams continues his success on the field, don't be surprised if this is not the last investment he makes.
