When the Chicago Bears first opened up OTAs, we saw head coach Ben Johnson get irritated, animated and agitated early on, and for good reason. Quarterback Caleb Williams was not running the offense up to snuff.

But, as the Bears now shift to minicamp, it looks like Johnson has seen significant growth from Williams in a short period of time.

"Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears are making real progress on offense," CHGO's Adam Hoge said after the latest minicamp practice. "Just two weeks ago, we saw the head coach go berserk, making them re-huddle, clearly agitated with the lack of details being executed on the field,"

Caleb Williams has grown leaps and bounds within Ben Johnson's offense in a short amount of time

Hoge would go on to highlight the fact that he has not seen Johnson call the offense to re-huddle even once, yet, in minicamp practices.

"Just two weeks later, didn't see a single re-huddle. We're seeing the footwork from Caleb Williams be better. We saw a really good two-minute drill. We're seeing Ben Johnson have a real effect on Caleb Williams and this Bears offense and Bears fans should be excited about it."

It shouldn't have been a surprise to hear Johnson's agitation surface back when OTAs opened up. This is a complex offensive scheme that this team is learning for the first time. So, there are bound to be many mistakes.

It's always a positive to get those mistakes out of the way during the summer months than the regular season. These are the moments where mistakes should be made, if there was the right time for such blunders.

Now, with Williams having taken such huge steps in such a short amount of time should offer a ton of hope that the Bears finally got things right. This franchise finally has their quarterback and head coach combo.

This franchise finally has what it takes for longstanding success.

Yep, it's minicamp and we're in peak offseason form with all of the hype. Let's just enjoy it, shall we?
