The Chicago Bears absolutely put on a clinic on how to run the football after beating the Philadelphia Eagles 24-15 on Black Friday.
Chicago finished the game with 281 yards on the ground, which was actually the second-most yards on the ground this season for the Bears. Rookie running back Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift each ran for over 100 yards in the game. Monangai led the way with 130 yards, and Swift had 125 with each scoring a touchdown in the win.
After the game, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams complimented the running backs and offensive line for their dominating performance against a usually stellar Eagles defensive front.
"No, that's not a surprise. We got elite backs. We have an elite offensive line, and we have an elite wide receiver group that is willing to go put themselves out there and block for the betterment of the team. Even on a day where, maybe, we are not going to throw as much, or the conditions are affecting it a little bit. affecting the pass game and things like that. Their willingness, especially with who they are, the type of receivers they are, where they have been drafted, how special they are, their willingness to go out there and block, it's awesome to watch and see from my point of view. Also, I can't wait to go watch it on film and kind of get excited about it. That's the sacrifice we need, that's the sacrifice that we want every single week from everybody on the field, so them being able to do that is tremendous for us."

Williams should be thanking the Bears' backs and line for their play
It was not a good night for Williams, who completed just 47.2% of his passes for 154 yards and one touchdown, with one interception. The off-target throws were at an all-time high.
Williams should count his blessings that the offensive line played so well. They only allowed two sacks in pass protection as the Eagles rarely got pressure on Williams.
Chicago's monstrous duo in the backfield with Swift and Monangai is hard to ignore as well, with their stellar play. Swift is now pacing to rush for over 1,200 yards, and Monangai is on pace for over 800 yards for the season. These would be incredible feats for the backs to have.

Williams' struggles with accuracy are noticeable, but thanks to the backs and the line, they can make sure the train keeps moving for Chicago as the Bears pursue a playoff spot, a division title, and heck, possibly a Super Bowl.
