The 2025 season has been magical for Chicago Bears fans. Caleb Williams is looking like the franchise quarterback this organization has long been searching for, and he's helped this team to an 11-4 mark and the number-two seed in the NFC playoffs.

What's made this Bears team different is their ability to respond in the clutch when things feel dire. Past Bears teams would crumble in those situations, but not this year's squad. If a previous Bears team was trailing by double digits to the Packers late in the game, there's little chance they would have clawed their way back into it, and even smaller of a chance that they'd walk off as the victors.

Williams spoke about that to the media when asked if this year's Bears squad was a team of destiny. His response will have Bears fans ready to run through a wall.

"Team of destiny? That's the cool part about destiny, you got to get to the end to know. We're going to keep working, we're going to keep striving for wins, we're going to keep striving for being a top team in this league, we're going to keep fighting until that clock hits zeroes, and we're going to look up and see who wins."

This response is exactly why Bears fans have fallen in love with Williams and the potential he continues to show for this team. Even during his rookie year last year, he showed flashes of this, but in 2025, it's on full display.

It doesn't seem to matter if the Bears are trailing near the end of the game because that's when they thrive the most. This is important for the playoffs because every team will be on the Bears' level and can take them deep into games.

The Bears have shown they know how to respond in those situations, and hopefully, that continues into the postseason.
