Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum has had a complicated relationship with the Philadelphia Eagles, who have made his life tough. Still, in Chicago's 27-7 win over Philly, he got his revenge.
Keenum dominated the Eagles all night, completing 24-of-34 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns, adding a rushing score in the fourth quarter to seal a perfect night. No matter what happened in the game, Philly had no answer for Keenum's quick release and pinpoint accuracy.
It was a nice evening for him, as Keenum won't forget that kind of performance. More importantly, though, it's a little payback for what the Eagles have done to him in the past.
Case Keenum got revenge on Eagles during Bears' Week 3 win
The game everyone remembers from Keenum versus the Eagles was back in 2017, when he was starting for the Minnesota Vikings. Off the heels of the Minneapolis Miracle, Keenum threw a game-winning touchdown to Stefon Diggs against the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Divisional Round, and the Vikings were looking to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in decades.
Philly hosted the NFC Championship Game against the Vikings, and Keenum felt the Eagles' wrath. Minnesota jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a Keenum touchdown pass, but it went off the rails when Patrick Robinson picked off a pass for the Eagles' first touchdown. That sparked a 38-0 Eagles run, helping them win 38-7, as Philly went on to beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl to win their first title ever.
Keenum finished that game completing 58.3% of his passes for 271 yards and one touchdown, with two interceptions. He went on to be the Denver Broncos' starting quarterback in 2018, then jumped to the Washington Commanders in 2019, where he got his first shot at revenge against the Eagles.
In some ways, Keenum showed the Eagles what they could do in the first game of the 2019 season, throwing for 380 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions against Washington. Philly still got the last laugh, though, with a 32-27 win.
Keenum might have forgotten those memories, but the Bears will make sure the Eagles remember, because Keenum gave them what they've been waiting for for years. Keenum's spectacular performance showed that the 38-year-old quarterback still has magic in his arm.

It's not known if Bears fans will ever see Keenum on the field again in a Bears uniform, but it's comforting to know that if it were, he would do it against a team that has brought him misery since 2017 and exercised those demons with a win in 2026.
