There are a lot of players who never get to experience what it's like to play in the postseason, which is the case for Chicago Bears star wide receiver DJ Moore. Not for long, though.

For Moore, this is the first time since high school that he is going to play in a playoff game after years of missing it when he played for Maryland in college and in the NFL with the Panthers and Bears. Moore shared what it means for him to be in this moment.

"It's great when you look at it," Moore said via ESPN's Courtney Cronin. "No winning season since high school is crazy, but to be in this locker room with all the guys, especially my rookies, they made the game young again and go out there and just have fun with them."

DJ Moore, similar to Caleb Williams, was built for moments like these

For years in the NFL, fans have seen Moore make clutch catches to help his team when they need him most. Bears fans saw it just a few weeks ago with his game-winning touchdown catch against the Green Bay Packers back in Week 16 in overtime.

Now, he finally gets to show his skills off in front of a playoff crowd after years of dominating defenders in the regular season. Despite a down year for him, Moore is still playing some of the best football in a long time.

This season, Moore has caught 50 passes for 682 yards and six touchdowns. Where Moore has made strides this year compared to the 2024 season is the yards he's getting with each reception, as he went from 9.9 yards per catch in 2024 (his career-low) to 13.6 yards per reception in 2025.

Even though Rome Odunze is going to be back on the field for the Bears, don't expect quarterback Caleb Williams to stop throwing it to Moore, as he trusts him to make the grab. The targets and plays will be there for Moore to make as long as Chicago can get him the ball in any way possible.

This will be the biggest game Moore has ever played in his life, and he knows he has to show that Chicago's trade for him in 2023 was vindicated by his big plays.
