Even with the NFL Draft just around the corner, Chicago Bears fans now know how the rest of the offseason is going to look before training camp starts in July.
The NFL announced all 32 NFL teams' offseason workout schedules. Chicago will have six voluntary workouts and three straight days in June with mandatory workouts.
OTA Offseason Workouts: May 27-29, June 2-4
Mandatory Minicamp: June 9-11
The Bears' 2026 offseason workout schedule is out
This offseason's workouts are going to be different from the ones Bears fans saw last year, as there is one year in the books for head coach Ben Johnson. A lot of the same pieces from that 11-6 playoff team in 2025 are back for another year and have more experience than before.
It's big to see that Johnson won't be taking his foot off the pedal with fewer mandatory workout days, as he has three, which is higher than most teams in the NFL. Johnson is setting the tone early in 2026 that, despite their success in 2025, they will still put in the work.
One fascinating storyline to monitor during the Bears' offseason workouts is how quarterback Caleb Williams looks after the offseason. Throughout last season, Williams struggled with accuracy as he took on more with the offense. It'll be interesting to see if he has been able to apply what he learned last year and keep building on what the Bears learned under Johnson's scheme.
The Bears' defense is going to look different in the secondary and at linebacker, so there will be more on Chicago's defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen, to get the unit where they need to be early on.

There's still nearly two months until offseason workouts begin, but a lot of eyes will be on this one for the Bears as this could end up being the beginning of a Super Bowl champion team.
