Bears start NFC North title defense run with preseason action
Chicago is familiar with the Browns and Bengals after playing both teams in the regular season last year. The Bears blew out the Browns 31-3 late in the season, but earlier in the year, Colston Loveland went for 118 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner to beat the Bengals in a shootout.
Playing the Titans will be an interesting one for the Bears, as they face off against a brand-new coaching staff and quarterback Cam Ward enters his second season in the NFL. Titans' new head coach Robert Saleh gave the Bears fits as the San Francisco 49ers' defensive coordinator last year, when Chicago lost to them in Week 17.
Some interesting storylines from these games will include monitoring the left tackle battle among Braxton Jones, Theo Benedet, and Jedrick Wills Jr. Bears fans are going to want to see how Coby Bryant and rookie first-round pick Dillon Thieneman do together in the secondary for the first time.
