The Chicago Bears officially announced when the players have to start reporting to training camp and who they will have joint practices with.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero shared the full list of NFL teams' start dates for training camp and the joint practice schedule. The Bears' rookies will be reporting on July 25, and the veterans are coming in on July 28. As for the joint practices, the Bears will be staying busy.
On August 20, the Bears will be visiting the Cincinnati Bengals for a joint practice. Then, just six days later on August 26, the Bears will once again be on the road as the Tennessee Titans will host them.
Bears' 2026 training camp schedule is officially out
The Bengals' joint practice was previously known, but it is great that the Bears will also have a joint practice with the Titans. This gives the Bears valuable reps that will at least give the players different competition in practice and not just face off against each other every day.
This training camp is going to have a lot of eyes on them as this is now the second year under Ben Johnson as head coach. Last year, training camp was intense with Johnson coaching the guys hard and showing that he's not afraid to throw his starters off the field if they are not playing well.
Going into 2026, the Bears feel like a different team under Johnson as they now know the expectations set for them. They've been through practice with their head coach for one year already, so they know what he is looking for.
