There is no shortage of questions Chicago Bears fans have about the roster heading into the 2026 season and beyond.
Many Bears fans are worried about the defense with the defensive line not getting enough attention in the 2026 NFL Draft, but there is one position on the roster they at least don't have to stress out about at night. Bleacher Report writer Kristopher Knox examined all 32 NFL teams' quarterback situations and divided them into four tiers, with the Bears being under "No QB Need in Sight."
"2024 No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams broke through with new head coach Ben Johnson last season, showing that after years of searching, the Chicago Bears finally have their franchise quarterback."
Bears should have zero concerns at quarterback for the future
Last season was a good indication that Williams has the Bears in a very good spot at quarterback. He threw for a franchise record 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns to seven interceptions, adding another three scores on the ground. Williams led an NFL record seven comeback and game-winning drives in the regular season and playoffs combined.
The Bears have their quarterback in the future, so that's not even close to being a problem. Even with the backups between Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum, they are in good shape for 2026 and beyond, so if Williams gets hurt, they have two guys who could start right away.
One thing Bears fans want to see improved with Williams is his accuracy, as he has had 62% in 2024 and 58% in 2025. That has to get better if the Bears want to get themselves from playoff contenders to Super Bowl champions.

Williams has all the talent in the world and should have the Bears in a position to succeed for a long time, as long as they keep building the roster around him the right way.
