In less than a week, the countdown of the top 100 players in the NFL gets underway, and many Chicago Bears fans are fascinated to see where some of their players land.

It feels like it is a lock that Bears quarterback Caleb Williams will land somewhere in the top 100, but the real question is where everyone else will land. Some wonder if guys like Colston Loveland will be able to get in there. At least one NFL player believes that.

The NFL posted on social media some of the ballots that were shared for the top 20 players. One of those players thinks that Williams is the ninth-best player in the league, while Loveland is at number 18.

Williams had a great second season in the NFL, breaking a franchise record for passing yards in a season with 3,942, and scored 31 total touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He made some of the most insane throws ever, putting him in the conversation with Patrick Mahomes as two of the best players in the league.

Loveland had a slow start to 2025, but emerged as the team's top receiver with 713 yards and six touchdowns. Many Bears fans are looking for him to take a massive leap in Year 2 in head coach Ben Johnson's offense.

It is quite a surprise to see Loveland in the top 20, as it clearly shows that he has the respect of his peers around the NFL. What has made him so good early on is, of course, that he's a great pass catcher, but an underrated blocker as well at tight end.

Something to keep in mind, though, is that there are people who believe that one ballot might have been from another Bears player. That's because former Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds is number 16 on the list and former safety Kevin Byard is number 17.

While Edmunds had a nice few years in Chicago before being cut and signing with the New York Giants this offseason, he has no business being in the top 100. Byard might be a bit of a reach too, but he at least led the NFL with seven interceptions in 2025, so that's more justified.

It's clear, though, that regardless of where they are ranked, Williams and Loveland have the respect of the NFL and should be a powerful QB-TE combo for a long time.
