The Chicago Bears made a clear effort to overhaul their offensive line this offseason — and it shows in Bleacher Report’s recently released NFC North All-Division team.
Who made the cut for the Bears?
The Bears placed three new offensive linemen on the starting five, all of whom were not starters for Chicago last season. Drew Dalman, Joe Thuney, and Jonah Jackson swept the interior spots, while the tackle positions went to Detroit Lions stars Taylor Decker and Penei Sewell.
While some of the selections were expected, a couple of choices raised eyebrows. Thuney is undoubtedly among the NFL’s best at guard, but Dalman is coming off an injury, and Jackson is coming off an uneven, at times ugly, 2024 season.
At center, players like Ryan Kelly and Elgton Jenkins could have also been considered. Kelly is older and recovering from injury, but his resume is more established than Dalman’s. As for Jenkins, his versatility across the line might have worked against him here, but he remains one of the most talented interior linemen in the division. Even Zach Tom and Will Fries could have had a case based on recent play.
Still, the fact that all three interior spots went to Bears newcomers speaks volumes about how much the team improved up front, and how they’re now viewed within the division.
The only other Bear to make the All-Division offense was wide receiver D.J. Moore, who joined Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson in a stacked receiver group. Even after a slightly down year, Moore remains one of the most impactful receivers in the NFC North.

Beyond that, no other Bears cracked the offensive lineup, but with several young players looking to break out in 2025, Chicago hopes to have more names in the conversation next year.
