In a Chicago Bears 2025 season that featured so many memorable victories, Week 16 stood out above them all.

That, of course, was the Bears’ 22-16 overtime win over the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. After the Bears erased a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter, which involved recovering an onside kick, the game went into overtime. Chicago forced a turnover on downs, and four plays later, Caleb Williams connected with DJ Moore for a 46-yard touchdown to win the game.

Williams’ touchdown to Moore won Next Gen Stats’ Moment of the Year award at NFL Honors. Moore was the Bears’ recipient for the award.

"Oooh, there is a lot of people in this mug, but I want to say thank you to, God,” Moore said. “You know, for our season. Joe (Thuney) knows the ups and downs. This season was special for the 2025 Bears cause RIP Virginia (McCaskey), but we went out there and made some moments this year, and they were special moments and we can't look forward to causing havoc to the league next year."

This Bears team had seven fourth-quarter comebacks, including the playoffs. It was a season that Bears fans will remember for a long time, especially with some of the best moments occurring in victories over the Packers.

A few weeks after the Week 16 matchup with Green Bay, the Bears overcame a 21-3 hole at halftime to defeat the Packers, 31-27, in the Wild Card round.

With so many come-from-behind wins, it was fitting that the Bears won the award for Best Moment of the year. Earlier in the night, Joe Thuney won the first-ever Protector of the Year award, which goes to the best offensive lineman.
