The final verdict is in on the Chicago Bears for Week 17, as the inactive list has been released ahead of the San Francisco 49ers game.
Chicago will have right tackle Darnell Wright, who traveled late with an illness. Bears wide receiver DJ Moore will also be inactive after being added to the injury report with an illness.
The bad news for Chicago is that they will be without wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus, who is out with an illness. Chicago added seven players to the inactive list for Week 17.
- Case Keenum, Third QB
- Rome Odunze, WR
- Dallis Flowers, CB
- Luke Newman, OL
- Olamide Zaccheaus, WR
- Nick McCloud, CB
- Ruben Hyppolite II, LB
Bears now down two wide receivers for the 49ers showdown
This is bad news for the Bears, as, for the second straight week, Caleb Williams will be without two of his top four wide receivers, with Odunze and Zaccheaus both out. That means that Moore and Luther Burden III become the top targets, with Jahdae Walker getting more snaps for the second straight week.
At least the Bears will have Moore, who is coming off the best game of his season that included the game-winning touchdown catch in the 22-16 overtime win over the Green Bay Packers. Burden is back after being out last week with his injury.
Chicago's secondary took a hit on the bench with McCloud being out for the game, as he has been the backup nickel back behind C.J. Gardner-Johnson. The Bears had Gardner-Johnson on the injury report, but it appears he will be active.

It's going to be a battle with the Bears being shorthanded once again in key positions, but they will have enough weapons to try to compete with the 49ers to fight for the number one seed in the NFC.
