The Chicago Bears attacked free agency with precision. It set themselves up for what could be a fantastic 2025 NFL Draft class. In this seven-round mock draft, the Bears trade back and still land a future superstar.

1.13 | Tyler Warren - TE, Penn State

The Dolphins took CB, Will Johnson, and Ashton Jeanty went 12th to the Dallas Cowboys. Seeing Tyler Warren available at 13 was a no-brainer. Warren will be fun to watch in Ben Johnson's system. I also think he'd be a solid pairing with Cole Kmet. Warren has shown he can do it all. As a former quarterback, he can throw the ball on trick plays, runs decent routes, has great speed, and is just a tactician on the field. His ability to make explosive plays is the most enticing.

Warren also has good hands. He can catch contested balls over the middle or balls thrown over his shoulder on the sideline. There isn't an area on the field that he wouldn't be able to attack, and defenses would struggle to match up against him since the Chicago Bears also have DJ Moore and Rome Odunze to compete against.

The downside of Warren is that he is already 22 years old. He didn't hit his stride until his fifth year in college and that can be a little alarming. The tape speaks for itself, though. He projects as an elite weapon in almost any offense, but in a Ben Johnson offense, I would expect him to hit his stride as early as a rookie. Maybe he will not make Brock Bowers-type strides as a rookie, but he will contribute nonetheless.
