The Chicago Bears are coming off an impressive preseason win over the Cleveland Browns, where they dominated from start to finish.
It appeared as though this game only caused more issues for the Bears in the best way possible. There were so many great performances in the game that the question now is: how will they keep all the good players on the team?
Well, the Bears have two weeks to go over the tape and notes before deciding on a 53-man roster. Here's a look at what that projection could look like.
Chicago Bears' 53-man roster projection after preseason win over Browns
QB - Caleb Williams, Tyson Bagent, Case Keenum
Nothing should really change here at quarterback, with Bagent and Keenum both having great games against the Browns. Miller Moss showed that he was a rookie, so he might be lucky to get a practice squad spot.
RB - D'Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai, Roschon Johnson
Johnson and Salvon Ahmed are battling for that RB3 job, and it is going to be close. The edge goes to Johnson for the moment, but Ahmed's 49-yard touchdown catch against the Browns makes it hard to ignore what he could be in this offense.
WR - Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Kalif Raymond, Zavion Thomas, Jahdae Walker
Davis is making it really difficult for the Bears to decide whether to carry five or six wide receivers. Ultimately, with all the injuries to Chicago's current defense, Davis feels more like a practice squad member, but he could challenge for a spot in the next two weeks.
TE - Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet, Sam Roush
Nothing should change at tight end, really, for the whole month of August. Roush made some nice plays and solidified his spot as TE3.
OL - Ozzy Trapilo, Joe Thuney, Garrett Bradbury, Jonah Jackson, Darnell Wright, Braxton Jones, Logan Jones, Luke Newman, Theo Benedet, Jordan McFadden
Trapilo being active completely changes the offensive line. The question is who will be on the roster at tackle between Benedet, Kiran Amegadjie, and Jedrick Wills Jr. Wills played his way out of a roster spot, but Benedet and Amegadjie are a toss-up at this point.
DE - Montez Sweat, Dayo Odeyingbo, Austin Booker, Daniel Hardy, Jamree Kromah, Shemar Turner
Hardy and Kromah had really good games, but Kromah might have been the best player on the Bears' roster against the Browns, so he just played his way onto the team. Turner's injury raises the question of whether he will have a spot on the roster or start the season on IR.
DT - Gervon Dexter Sr., Grady Jarrett, Neville Gallimore, Jordan van den Berg, James Lynch
Van den Berg is the big complication: he played well in his first NFL game, leaving his roster spot, and has since become secure. The real question is what will happen between Lynch and Kentavius Street. That one will have to be decided during the rest of training camp.
LB - T.J. Edwards, Devin Bush, D'Marco Jackson, Ruben Hyppolite II, Jack Sanborn
Noah Sewell being out raises questions about the linebacker depth chart for Week 1. Hyppolite and Sanborn were all over the field against the Browns, so they should be in the conversation to challenge for roster spots.
CB - Jaylon Johnson, Tyrique Stevenson, Kyler Gordon, Jaylon Jones, Malik Muhammad, Josh Blackwell
The Bears did not get a good performance from Blackwell in coverage, but he is at least a great special teams player, so he should still be fine. Muhammad was impressive in his first game, so he might fit into that nickel spot if Gordon is not ready to play in the opening weekend.
S - Dillon Thieneman, Cam Lewis, Xavier Woods, Beanie Bishop
Safety is a massive question mark after all the injuries, but Bishop's three pass deflections and two interceptions have to put him in the conversation to make the team. Thieneman, Lewis, and Woods should stay as the top three the rest of training camp unless they join Coby Bryant in getting hurt.

Special Teams - Cairo Santos (K), Tory Taylor (P), Beau Gardner (LS)
This special teams unit should go untouched throughout August, as this seems to be the unit. Santos' missed field goal in the game leaves much to be desired with the operation, but they should still be fine.
