He won't make that mistake twice.

There's no better way to celebrate the end of the 2026 NFL Draft for the Chicago Bears than to predict what general manager Ryan Poles does in the 2027 draft.

Next year's draft could be used to fix a lot of the mistakes that the Bears made in the 2026 draft. Many have criticized Poles for not going defensive line at all and missing out on adding more depth to the offensive line.

Using the PFSN mock draft simulator, Bear Goggles On looks forward to the 2027 draft to see how the Bears could fix the mistakes of the past and potentially set themselves up for a Super Bowl run. Here's an early look at the Bears' seven-round 2027 mock draft.

Chicago Bears' Way-Too-Early 2027 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 19: Quincy Rhodes Jr., EDGE (Arkansas)

In this scenario, Dayo Odeyingbo is gone, and the Bears are scrambling to find the next great pass rusher. Rhodes is coming off an eight-sack season and seems poised to have an even better 2026 campaign. Poles made the mistake of not getting an edge rusher in 2026, but he won't do that twice.

Round 2, Pick 51: Raleek Brown, RB (Texas)

D'Andre Swift is a free agent in 2027, so that'll leave the backup job open for whoever is behind Kyle Monangai. With Monangai's power, they will need speed, and Brown has that with his 4.47-second 40-yard dash quickness. Brown is a bit undersized, but he adds a different dynamic that the Bears' offense is going to need at that point.

Round 3, Pick 83: William Echoles, DT (Ole Miss)

Hopefully, Gervon Dexter isn't a free agent, but he is slated to be one in 2027, and Grady Jarrett might be in the same boat as Odeyingbo and be cut or traded depending on how he plays. The Bears need another young, long-term solution at tackle, and Echoles has all the makings to be a solid starter in the NFL.

Round 4, Pick 118: Anthony Donkoh, OT (Penn State)

The left tackle position will be interesting to see at this point, whether Ozzy Trapilo holds on to the job or if they go in another direction in free agency. Donkoh would at least give them some depth at the position.

Round 6, Pick 209: C.J. Bailey, QB (NC State)

Will the 2027 offseason be the one that sees Tyson Bagent get traded? Bailey would be a solid backup quarterback for Bears head coach Ben Johnson to develop, as he is a 6-foot-6 quarterback who is thin and athletic for his height. Could be a good option to sit behind Caleb Williams and learn for a few years.

Round 7, Pick 236: Jyaire Hill, CB (Michigan)

At this point of the draft, it's all about depth and best player available, with Hill fitting that description. Tyrique Stevenson might not be in Chicago at this point, and 2026 fourth-round pick Malik Muhammad might be stepping into the starting lineup. Hill could back Muhammad up.
