The Chicago Bears have won two games in a row and have done so in ways that Bears fans haven't been used to seeing. Old Bears teams would have found ways to choke in those games and the Bears would be sitting at 4-5 instead of 6-3.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson joined the Bears two weeks ago and has known nothing but winning since joining his new team. The newest Bear, while speaking to the media, discussed how things have been going for him in Chicago so far and Bears fans will love hearing what he had to say.

“I love winning, so it’s a great feeling. We’re all happy.... It’s just a blessing to be here. I was home for a month and a half [listening to] narratives, scrutiny… but when you’re around a great group of people, a great group of coaches that believe in you, I think that goes out the window when they can see the person who can come in and adapt, adjust and make an impact on the team.”

It sure sounds like C.J. Gardner-Johnson is happy to be with the Bears

Gardner-Johnson joined the Houston Texans this offseason after he was traded there from Philadelphia but his Texans tenure didn't even last a month into the regular season. The Texans opted to release him after he had been vocally displeased with his role and the team overall and he joined the Bears roughly a month and a half after his release.

So far, the signing has looked good. The Bears already had injury issues in their secondary so the fact that a player like CJGJ was even available was a lucky break for them. Throw in that he's playing well for them and this could go down as a move that helps push the Bears into the playoff contender conversation.

It's good to hear that Gardner-Johnson is happy to be a Bear because Bears fans are also happy that he's a Bear. Now let's keep it going!
