Instead of focusing on the fact that the Chicago Bears won their first postseason game in 15 years after coming back from 18 points down to beat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card game, everyone is getting hung up on head coach Ben Johnson's comments in the locker room.
After the game, Johnson screamed "F*** the Packers" to his players, which caused an uproar, with people saying it was unprofessional for him to have said it. Others have defended Johnson by saying that rivalries are back in the NFL.
Johnson doubled down on those comments during his presser earlier in the week, defending himself and saying he doesn't like the Packers. FOX host Colin Cowherd had no problems with Johnson's comments when he spoke about the incident on his show.
"I'm all for this stuff. Conflict, and tension, and animosity is what every Hollywood screenwriter is trying to figure out."

Johnson just had the most important win of his career, and people seem to be upset about something that will make the Bears-Packers rivalry even better. Remember the days of Mike Ditka and Buddy Ryan exchanging insults at each other through the media? That made the Eagles-Bears rivalry that much better with Ditka and Ryan going at each other.
This is only going to add to the intensity of a Packers-Bears rivalry that truly needed it. Chicago fans don't want to admit it, but Green Bay has had their number over the last decade, but the tides have turned of late. The Bears have won three of the last four matchups against the Packers.
Chicago is starting to make a comeback in the NFL after an 11-6 regular season and winning the NFC North. It adds that the Bears are making a playoff run, set to play the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round.

If anything, NFL fans should be appreciative of what Johnson has done, as the next time the Bears and Packers play each other next season, it is going to be two epic battles for two of the best teams in the division, the conference, and even the league.
