Oh, no sir. No chance.

You have zero right to mosey on over and hop on the Chicago Bears bandwagon like nothing ever happened.

One of the most notorious critics of this franchise just decided to flip flop, again. To no one's surprise, Colin Cowherd, ladies and gentlemen:

"Denver is winning ugly, Philly is winning ugly, the Jaguars always win ugly. Chicago's got the second-best rushing attack in the league, fourth in total offense, top-10 in yards per play. Those are the numbers Vegas cares about. That feels legitimate to me," Cowherd recently said on an episode of his show The Herd.

Colin Cowherd is a long way from assuring Bears fans the Ben Johnson-Caleb Williams relationship will fail

In case you might not remember, just a couple of short months ago, Cowherd had this to say about the Bears under Ben Johnson:

"I don't think this marriage is gonna work. I think Caleb may work somewhere, but this head coach did not draft this quarterback."

Mind you, this was September 15. This was just days into the first season with Caleb Williams and Johnson together. Fast foward, and Cowherd is saying things like this:

"Their number one issue and you have this with young teams, too many penalties. You got a new coach, a quarterback who is young, they make mistakes, but you can clean that up. Chicago has won 7 of 8. It feels totally legit. I see a young coach, a young quarterback, they're great in the fourth quarter."

Oh, so the Bears now "feel totally legit," huh? That's what we're going with?

Fine, Cowherd might have actually provided some legitimate reasoning behind his recent thoughts, but this bandwagon is closed to the Fox Sports shock jock.

Bears fans already knew this to be true. Even though the fan base might still be questioning whether it feels real, or whether it will last, they know good and well that this Bears team is indeed a top-10 offense in the league.

It doesn't feel real. But, these are the facts. The Ben Johnson effect, as we've called it, is 100 percent real. Johnson has this offense putting up points and stacking up yards, even though penalties and mental errors seem to take over the majority of our minds when watching the game.

The reality is, Chicago is winning. It doesn't matter how they're winning. They're just winning.

So, yeah, the Bears are winning ugly just like some other teams who might be more respected, give or take. It's a valid point.

But, this bandwagon ain't open for everybody.
