Since the hiring of Ben Johnson, things have felt awfully different with this Chicago Bears team. It's quite incredible what one person can do to rejuvenate an organization.

We know Johnson was viewed as the top head coaching candidate this past cycle and has been coveted by other teams for years. Somehow, the Bears landed him, and the future suddenly looks a whole lot brighter.

Coming into a building with franchise quarterback Caleb Williams and weapons like DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, among others, Johnson has a pretty strong arsenal to work with right away.

Speaking of Moore and Odunze, specifically, the two Bears receivers were kind enough to sit down with FanSided's own Ian McMillan of Stacking the Box during Super Bowl 59 Radio Row.

Representing Bounty, Moore and Odunze played a quick version of the newlyweds game with McMillan, which was highly entertaining, before ultimately talking football. McMillan wanted to get their opinion on their new head coach, and from the sound of it, they're excited about the hire.

DJ Moore and Rome Odunze know Ben Johnson is going to elevate this Bears offense

"We're super excited ... hearing him talk and the conviction in his words ... it was inspiring. We're excited about the future," said Odunze.

Moore said he agreed with Odunze and added his own perspective after seeing what Johnson's done in the NFC North these past couple of years.

"We saw enough playing against the Lions the past two years. Everything they did, they had a plan. He (Johnson) came in with a plan right from the get-go with the presser. I'm looking forward to it," Moore said.

More Bears news:

Last season with two different offensive coordinators, neither Moore nor Odunze topped 1,000 receiving yards with the former coming the closest and ending with 966 yards on 98 receptions. Odunze, meanwhile, still had a solid rookie year putting up 734 yards on 54 receptions.

Combining for just nine touchdowns, Moore and Odunze should be in for a whole lot more production under Johnson. We know the creativity was strongly lacking in Shane Waldron's offense last season and it's the same playbook Thomas Brown had to work off of as well.

Johnson's offense is all about getting the most out of each individual player's strengths. We're likely to see Moore in a lot of situations where he's getting the ball quickly and able to do what he does best after the catch.

Odunze, on the other hand, should be given a lot more opportunities down the field. After all, he did acknowledge his love for the straight "go" route in the above interview.

Whatever Johnson ends up doing with these two, Bears fans can rest assured knowing it's going to be a heck of a lot more fun to watch than last year's offense.
