As we are getting closer to the 2026 NFL Draft, we are starting to get a clearer picture of who the Chicago Bears will select.
Chicago holds the 25th overall pick in the first round of the draft. The players who are most mocked by the team make plenty of sense, and most fans would be happy with all the consensus selections.Â
A recent aggregate of mock draft data was compiled, and three obvious choices kept getting picked over and over.
The Chicago Bears' most mocked players in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo
McNeil-Warren is currently the most selected player by analysts for the Bears. This makes sense because the team needs a safety. In a lot of big boards, you will find McNeil-Warren in the top 20. However, because safety is not the most valued position, and it may take Caleb Downs a few picks before his name is called, McNeil-Warren may fall.
So, all of these analysts are seeing him as the top player left on most big boards, and they see that the Bears have a need here. It is easy to put these two together.Â
Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State
Kayden McDonald is another easy one to put together. He is a bit limited in his pass rush, but Gervon Dexter is better as a pass rusher than a run defender.
Still, McDonald does not bring the highest ceiling, but the floor is a plug-and-play starter on day one who may end up being the best defensive lineman on the roster by the end of the season. Some will question if 25 is too high for a player with a limited pass-rushing ceiling. However, the Bears have a massive need, and he is the best player at his position.Â
Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn
The reason that an edge rusher is not the most projected player is that there are options on the edge. In most mocks, McDonald is the only defensive lineman considered around pick 25, and McNeil-Warren is the only safety in this draft range.

Meanwhile, Faulk joins Akeem Mesidor, T.J. Parker, and Zion Young as edge rushers who get selected for the Bears at pick 25. Faulk is the best fit for the Bears, so it makes sense that he was selected the most. If you did a position mock draft, the group of edge rushers probably has more selections than McNeil-Warren.
