With the vibes back to being positive after a Chicago Bears win in Week 6, a few specific familiar faces cannot exaclty say the same.
We've seen plenty of former Bears appearing around the league and for various reasons this year, but a handful became even more relevant this past week as Chicago took down the Atlanta Falcons.
Along with a few recognizable names now in black and red, let's check in on some former Bears and how they performed this past week.
Spoiler: I'd bet they're missing Chicago right about now.
Gervon Dexter Sr. sacks Caleb Williams in first matchup against Chicago
Since joining the Falcons after the Bears traded him prior to the season, Gervon Dexter Sr. has helped Atlanta's defensive line become an under-the-radar, disruptive group. He's been active in both phases for the Falcons, but he finally got his first sack on Sunday when he took Caleb Williams to the ground.
Dexter tied his season-high with four tackles and two quarterback hits, although, the Bears took home the win.
LaCale London also reminds Bears fans of what they once had
As an undrafted free agent back in 2020, LaCale London spent most of his time as a member of the Bears practice squad and more of an afterthought in Chicago. It wasn't until the 2025 season, with Atlanta, that he truly broke out, registering 5.0 sacks while playing 32 percent of defensive snaps.
Joining Dexter, London also found himself bringing down Caleb Williams in the teams' head-to-head matchup this past Sunday. He also notched season highs in total tackles (5) and solo tackles (3) in this one.
Olamide Zaccheaus has yet another case of the drops
Sticking with former Bears who played against their old team just this past Sunday, Falcons receiver Olamide Zaccheaus frustrated fans in Atlanta on multiple occasions.
First and foremost, he had a pair of drops in crucial situations, including on what would have been a third-down conversion. Instead, because he dropped the pass, the Falcons would punt.
He also stopped running on a route that would've given the Falcons at least a 20-yard gain. This came with just over a minute left in the first half with the Falcons down by 14.
Bears fans can't help but smirk just a little.
Khalil Mack quiet in another Chargers defeat
It's safe to say the 35-year-old didn't sign up for this. The Los Angeles Chargers stayed winless on the year with another loss, this time to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Khalil Mack is one of the top trade candidates as the deadline nears, and Bears fans are hoping he's dealt back to the Windy City in the end. In his latest game against the Chiefs, Mack was a bit quiet, tallying four total tackles and two defensive stops to go with a couple of quarterback pressures.
Keenan Allen has a strong performance in an embarrassing Colts loss
Another veteran nearing the end of his career, Keenan Allen, is also in a situation that he didn't quite envision. The Indianapolis Colts just dropped a game to the Tennessee Titans, moving to 2-4 on the year and firing their general manager, Chris Ballard.
Despite the embarrassing loss, Allen caught eight of 11 targets for 82 yards. He didn't get into the end zone, though, which has been a theme as Allen only has one touchdown on the year.
D.J. Moore misses another game due to injury
The Buffalo Bills got the win over Las Vegas, but wide receiver D.J. Moore missed his second-straight game sitting out with his AC joint injury. It was one he re-aggravated from even earlier in the season and, with the Bills being firm Super Bowl contenders, they're playing it safe.
Bears fans remember Moore being tough as nails, playing through a lot of nicks and bumps. But, with a legitimate chance to go all the way, it's the smart thing for Moore to rest up until he's fully healthy.

In four games this year, Moore has 12 receptions for 178 yards and a touchdown.
