Most Chicago Bears fans already know how their team did this past week, as Case Keenum pulled off one of the more unlikely performances in recent memory.

After a Week 3 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in prime time, the Bears now turn their attention to the New York Jets in Week 4.

But, as us as fans like to do, sometimes it's worthwhile to keep up on some former Bears. How did they do last week?

Let's check in.

  1. Gervon Dexter Sr. helps catapult Packers into panic mode
  2. Keenan Allen finally arrives in 2026
  3. David Montgomery suffering in Houston
  4. How other former Bears are performing around the league

Gervon Dexter Sr. helps catapult Packers into panic mode

Bears fans love when the Bears perform well. Their second-favorite thing, though, is when the Packers don't.

In Week 3, the Packers were humiliated by the Atlanta Falcons and their offensive line looked the worst it's ever looked. Gervon Dexter Sr. was a part of that. The Packers ran for 17 yards and Jordan Love only completed about half of his passes.

Traded to Atlanta before the season, Dexter left the Bears in a contract year and so far, he's played well. His Atlanta defensive line might've been the final straw for Green Bay, too, as the Packers had to start looking for veteran help up front.

Dexter had his second-straight game with six quarterback pressures and also tallied two quarterback hits, per PFF.

Keenan Allen finally arrives in 2026

Over the first two weeks of the season, Keenan Allen looked done. But, out of necessity, I suppose, he finally came alive in Week 3.

The Indianapolis Colts avoided going 0-3 and won narrowly over the Houston Texans and Allen caught six passes on nine targets, for 63 yards and a score.

Previously, Allen had only 7 receptions for 37 yards on 11 targets.

David Montgomery suffering in Houston

Allen's Colts dropped David Montgomery's Texans to 0-3, and the former Bears running back isn't having a whole lot of fun. The Texans only had 51 total offensive plays in this one, and they gave Montgomery 11 carries that he took for 33 yards.

On the season, Montgomery has 37 carries for 103 yards and a pair of scores.

Even though he'd be the no. 2 guy in Detroit, Montgomery would still get a few touches, and he's got to be missing the Lions quite a bit.

How other former Bears are performing around the league

Jaquan Brisker, S, Pittsburgh Steelers

His first two games of the season, Jaquan Brisker was both hot and cold; similarly to how Bears fans remember him. In the Steelers' win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3, Brisker had his best statistical game of the season.

Against Cincy, Brisker had a season-high six tackles and another season-high with three defensive stops. He did allow two receptions on two targets in coverage, but only for 15 yards and no scores.

Olamide Zaccheaus, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Olamide Zaccheaus continues to be an afterthought in the Falcons' offense, to which there are no Bears fans surprised. In Week 3 against the Packers, he caught two passes for nine yards.

Meanwhile, the likes of Drake London and Bijan Robinson toasted the Packers' defense.

Zaccheaus is likely to become more and more of an afterthought as rookie Zachariah Branch's involvement rises.

Tremaine Edmunds, LB, New York Giants

There's only one play we need to focus on with Edmunds. He was neither great nor horrible in the Giants' ugly win over the Titans, but he did make a significant and bone-headed mistake late in the game.

On a 4th-and-1, with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, Cam Ward was able to draw Edmunds offsides on a play that could have effectively ended the game right then and there.

That penalty gave Tennessee an automatic first down and a chance to go up inside the red zone. Fortunately, Edmunds was bailed out by a Jevon Holland interception which did end the game.

Larry Borom, OT, Detroit Lions

Lions fans rejoiced, in Week 3, as Larry Borom was relegated back to the bench. Blake Miller returned to his starting role as FanSided's Lions expert, Candace Pedraza, reacted to the news:

"Blake Miller came back this week, so he was quickly relegated back to the bench, thankfully for my own eyes."

We can relate, Candace. We can relate.

Darnell Mooney, WR, New York Giants

While the Giants are now in a post-Jaxson Dart world for the remainder of the season, Darnell Mooney continues to have a hard time becoming a real part of the team's passing attack next to Malik Nabers, Isaiah Likely and rookie Malachi Fields.

Against the Titans in Week 3, Mooney caught two of three targets for just 20 yards as Jameis Winston got the start.
