There have been plenty of rumors, mock drafts, and suggestions around the 2025 NFL Draft, but as we have gotten closer to the day, it sure does sound like the team is tied to Ashton Jeanty. It has not just been one report, but Dianna Russini did not need to expound much when it came to what she was hearing about the Bears' draft day plans.

The Bears have been linked to Jeanty for weeks, and they are hoping they can snag him at 10.

This should not be a surprise to anyone. One of the most interesting notes around the Bears recently is that they have considered Omarion Hampton and Treveyeon Henderson with the tenth pick as well. We all know that Jeanty is a tier better than these backs, so if they are considering those runners there, they have to be ready to run the pick to the table if Jeanty is there.

The question remains whether or not Jeanty will be there. The Las Vegas Raiders remain the favorite to land the Boise State star, but there have been rumors recently that they could be tied to the offensive or defensive line in that spot.

Still, for as many reports there are that he will fall past six, which may lead to a path to nine, there are some reports that he will not even get to six, which is why the Raiders are looking in another direction.

So, while the floor for Jeanty does appear to be number ten, we do not know the ceiling quite yet. It will be quite the sweat as the Bears wait to see who falls off the board between picks five and nine. If Jeanty is there, we know what will happen, but what happens if he is not is a huge question.
