It took Caleb Williams one drive to send the entire Giants franchise into crisis

That's quite a change, for once.

As if it wasn't dramatic enough to watch Caleb Williams lead another game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, the Chicago Bears' comeback win over the New York Giants ended up having massive repercussions.

Just about a year ago, it was the Bears' coaching staff that saw a huge shakeup with Matt Eberflus getting the boot. Oh, how the times have changed.

After the Bears handed New York their eighth loss on the season, though, the Giants decided to make major changes the morning after. Giants head coach Brian Daboll has officially been fired.

This wasn't just a big win for the Bears, it was an improbable win. Depending upon the outlet you trust, this was the Giants' fourth loss of the season when they held a win probability of 90 percent or more in the second half.

Caleb Williams might have played a big role in getting Brian Daboll fired

Spoiler alert: Caleb did it.

There was no "might" about this instance, to be frank.

Giants fans can thank Williams for being the final nail in the coffin, because one moment did, indeed, seal Daboll's fate.

When the Giants shanked their final punt, handing the Bears the football at their own 47-yard line with what ended up being an eternity left to play, Bears fans knew what was about to happen.

Williams has proved time and time again, already, that he can be trusted with the game on the line. And, that's exactly what he did.

In a game where Williams' pass catchers didn't exactly do him any favors, the second-year quarterback knew it was time to shoulder the load. On Chicago's final offensive play from the Giants' 17-yard line, Williams took it in himself for what would end up not just being a game-winning score, but a signature moment in his young career.

And just like that, Giants fans knew. They just knew. There was no way they could keep Daboll captain of the ship after another total collapse.

What a world we're living in. Just think about it for a moment.

Of course, it isn't fully right to marvel at another team's misfortune (unless we're talking about that team in Green Bay).

But, the Bears -- the Bears -- just got another head coach fired.

For once, we aren't coming away from a nail-biter full of momentum swings with an attitude of "this Bears coach has got to go."

No, it's the other way around and, to be quite honest, it's a nice breath of fresh air.
