Chicago Bears wide receiver Kaden Davis has just been so impressive over the first three-plus weeks of training camp.

Davis was once thought of as just a return guy, and a few months ago was in the UFL with the Houston Gamblers. Now, he's battling for a 53-man roster spot, and he might deserve it.

All throughout training camp, Davis has been making multiple big plays and getting into the end zone for touchdowns. After his preseason performance and the latest practice, he's not slowing down anytime soon.

Kaden Davis is turning up the pressure on the Bears in training camp

In the Bears' 34-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, Davis caught four passes for 88 yards. He was the leading receiver on the team and had a huge 41-yard completion in the first half.

The day after the game, Bears offensive coordinator Press Taylor was asked about Davis and how he's done. Taylor gave Davis a lot of praise for his work.

"He’s done a great job," Taylor said.  "And it’s like you said, he continues to produce with the opportunities he’s been given. You’ve got to put wins on tape. He had a contested catch on the sideline over there. He had a couple other plays. He did a good job blocking. We had a big third down conversion on a run early with [RB] Roschon [Johnson] where he shows up and he’s blocking the safety.  Kind of springs us for our longest run of the day. He put a lot of good things on tap, and he’s continued to do that. So that’s really all you can ask for from those guys. They make the most of their opportunities and he’s continued to do that. And I think that’s why you see more and more opportunities go his way."

The fun didn't stop there, though, as Davis is keeping his momentum going at practice. In the Bears' latest practice, team analyst Clay Harbor shared his thoughts on how he felt Davis did.

"JP Richardson and Kaden Davis had huge days. Richardson consistently created separation, caught multiple passes with the ones and capped practice with a 30-plus-yard touchdown. Davis made several plays including two-minute period against the starting defense. This kid is legit."

Chicago's wide receiver position is so deep right now, making the decisions at wide receiver tougher. Davis is showing he can make all the plays the offense needs and can help on special teams as a returner.

Questions remain about whether Davis can make the team, but it's getting harder for the Bears to ignore him completely. He's going to have to be a part of the conversation when looking at the last few spots on the roster in two weeks.
