The Chicago Bears had a magical season, going 11-6, winning the NFC North, and winning a playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Couldn't have asked for a better season, but the latest season numbers that came in wouldn't indicate a great year for the Bears.
FOX Sports shared the home attendance rankings for all 32 NFL teams during the regular season. The Bears finished last, averaging 58,127 fans at Soldier Field this season, with 465,014 in attendance across eight home games in 2025.
Taking into account that not all teams had eight regular season home games and not all stadiums are the same size, there is always a ranking of the percentage of capacity being filled at home games. The Bears still rank 27th, having filled 94.5% of their home games this past season.
Chicago is not making a good argument to keep Bears
Something that hasn't been discussed as much but frustrates Bears fans in Chicago is the talk of relocating their stadium, which has come up over the last few years. The latest report is that the Bears are considering going to Indiana to build their new stadium.
This has infuriated the Bears fan base in Chicago, who want the team to fix up Soldier Field or at least stay in the Chicago area. There have been issues in both the Bears franchise and the city of Chicago over what to do, so the Bears have been flirting with moving the team.
These attendance numbers make a strong case for the Bears to move their team if they can win 11 games and still can't sell out every game. That's a big concern for a franchise that is heading in a new direction of hope for the Bears.

This might be the wake-up call Chicago needs: they have to support the Bears better or risk losing their franchise to Indiana, a place no one wants to see them in.
