It seems a lot of people are hopping on the Chicago Bears bandwagon after their incredible 2025 season.

Chicago was able to complete an NFL-record seven comebacks and game-winning drives en route to an 11-6 record, NFC North title, and a playoff win over the Green Bay Packers. That kind of season was enough for USA Today's Nate Davis to rank the Bears third on his power rankings.

"They gave the mighty Rams all they could handle in an overtime divisional round loss at Soldier Field. Chicago won eight of its final 12 games and captured its first NFC North title in seven years. 'Good, better, best,' this team incrementally got better in 2025 and not only found an identity but a power couple in coach Ben Johnson and QB Caleb Williams that could be a force to be reckoned with for the next decade-plus."

There's a reason everyone is excited about this team. Bears general manager Ryan Poles had an incredible 2025 offseason, adding four new starters to the offensive line that allowed 44 fewer sacks than in 2024, as well as finding four impact players in the NFL Draft.

Head coach Ben Johnson completely changed the culture of the Bears in ways Matt Eberflus and Matt Nagy were not able to do over the past eight years. Chicago learned how to win games under Johnson's leadership, and it made a significant difference.

The development of quarterback Caleb Williams made massive strides in 2025. Williams broke a franchise record with 3,942 passing yards and added 30 total touchdowns while throwing just seven interceptions. His 13 interceptions in 34 career games make for a 1.2% interception percentage, which is pacing to be the best in NFL history.

Chicago has done everything right over the last year to get to this point, but they still have a lot of work to do during the 2026 offseason to stay in Super Bowl contention.
