The Chicago Bears traded DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills. In doing so, they've elevated Luther Burden's role for the 2026 season, something that fans were clamoring for after the team spent a second-round pick on him in last year's draft.

Even with Burden getting a promotion with this trade, he still posted a reaction to the news of his teammate now heading north to Buffalo. Burden's reaction to the trade was classy and simple. All he did was post an image of himself and Moore sitting together on the bench, with the caption consisting of two hearts and two crossed fingers.

This is the perfect response from Burden. Sometimes you don't have to sum up how you're feeling in words, and Burden handled his now former teammate's trade in a way that worked for him. Posting a photo of the two of them together and adding kind emojis shows that he clearly respected Moore and wishes him well in his new adventure.

Burden, a second-round pick by the Bears in last year's draft, will now get more targets sent his way, and hopefully, he capitalizes on them. He had a nice rookie year, totaling 47 catches for 652 yards and two trips into the end zone, so expanding on that in 2026 will be a huge win for everyone involved. The Bears will surely look to add a WR3 through free agency or the draft as well, which will only make Ben Johnson's offense even better.

As for Moore, he gets to go to a contending team and still catch passes from an amazing quarterback. It's not like the Bears sent him somewhere he'd be forgotten about or underutilized. Moore will definitely shine in Buffalo, and it sounds like Burden will be cheering him on (as long as the Bears and Bills aren't playing each other, that is).
