Tension is building within the walls of Halas Hall as the Chicago Bears are in the middle of a three-game losing streak following their 19-3 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.

As has become tradition, the Monday following a Bears' loss has become appointment radio. In a preview of what today would hold, a caller to 670 The Score's postgame show on Sunday had nothing but disdain when talking about Eberflus.

Eberflus was set to appear in his weekly interview with David Kaplan and J Hood on ESPN 1000 on Monday morning, but he was conveniently experiencing phone issues. While none of the callers before or after Eberflus' interview experienced connection issues, the Bears' head coach dropped from the call on three separate occasions.

The final time, Kaplan lost all patience with the Bears' head coach and brutally trolled Eberflus.

This is yet another sign of how dysfunctional the Bears are as an organization. Despite the revamp that the Bears' PR management underwent this past offseason, Eberflus' hit with ESPN 1000 on Monday is a sign that the organization hasn't learned anything.

The stink that is surrounding Eberflus at the moment has to be addressed by either Ryan Poles or Kevin Warren. The issue is that both Poles and Warren deserve a large portion of the blame for how the Bears' train derailed under Eberflus. Poles' decision to bring back Eberflus last January is proving to be one that has wasted the first season of development for rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. Warren's tunnel vision on his failed stadium plans has made him blind to the fact that the football side of the organization is broken.

If there is any news from Eberflus' debacle of an interview with ESPN 1000, it is that he will likely remain in place as the team's head coach.
