It was just six months ago when Chicago sent the Packers packing in a thrilling 31-27 Wild Card victory. Even though Parsons was sidelined, he saw how Williams torched his squad to the tune of 361 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
Last season was the coming-out party for Williams after an uneven rookie season in 2024. The pairing of Williams and Johnson hit its stride as the year went on, making the future exciting.
Although we don't know where Parsons actually ranked Williams or Love on the Top 100 list, it was interesting that he was seen naming Williams over his own quarterback. Typically, players hype up their own teammates, but in this case, it was the opposite.
The NFL also knew what they were doing, including Parsons in the 30-second clip, knowing it would stir up some drama. And that's exactly what it did. Seeing that gives off the impression that Parsons thinks Williams is already better than Love. And for a team that hates each other, that's a major win for Chicago.
