Micah Parsons proved to Bears fans he's more delusional than they thought

Poor Micah Parsons. The Chicago Bears continue to live rent-free in his head after last year's events.

Despite the Green Bay Packers winning the first matchup against the Bears, they blew double-digit leads in the next two games, which helped the Bears win the NFC North and their Wild Card matchup. Parsons believes that if he had been on the field for those two games and had not gotten hurt in the Denver Broncos game, the results would have been different, and they would have won.

"I like to believe so," Parsons told Action Network's DJ Siddiqi. "It's easy to say that, and kind of have controversy over if so and so played, I think my team could have won, regardless if I was out there or not. But I definitely feel like we could have won. I won when I was in Green Bay, so I don't see why I can't pull out another one out of two of those games. Besides I always have a rule that if my quarterback puts up 21 points, you're probably gonna win the football game."

Micah Parsons really believes he helps Packers beat the Bears twice more

Parsons must have forgotten who his team was facing off against on the opposite side. Even in the first matchup between the two teams, the Packers almost blew that lead too if it hadn't been for Bears quarterback Caleb Williams throwing an interception with under 30 seconds left in the game.

Williams made sure that didn't happen again against the Packers as he led comebacks that included a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter in Week 16 and an 18-point deficit in the third quarter of the Wild Card playoff game. Both of those comebacks ended with the Packers' defense folding and the Packers losing.

While Parsons is a great player, he couldn't have done much to help the Packers win. The Bears were destined to win those two games as they had completed an NFL record seven comebacks and game-winning drives in the regular season and playoffs.

Parsons can believe his own hype all he wants, but the reality is the Bears finished the job against the Packers because they aren't reliant on just one player. Chicago can win any game at any time in any conditions, unlike Green Bay apparently.
